Let me introduce myself.

My name is 間嶋めぐ【MAJIMA MEGU】(It might be too long, so please call me just Megu or Maji-Megu).

I’m 149cm tall (still the same height since 11years old),and my favorite goldfish are “Tama-Saba(ball mackere)l” and “Ping-pong pearl.”

I was born in my mother’s hometown of 山北町【SAMPOKU Town】 (now Murakami City), 新潟県【NIIGATA-Prefecture】. My grandfather was bear hunter.🐻 After staying at Tokyo, Itabashi-ku untill 5 years old, I attended Niigata City Kido Elementary School and Niigata High School, and was a member of the karate club. 🥋

While studying at at Showa Women’s University, I studied abroad in Boston for four monthes. Then, I was So shocked when I couldn’t answer questions about Japanese culture from American peoples. So, after returning to Japan, I majored in Japanese Language Education for foreignes.

I completed the Japanese Language Education course at Tokai University Graduate School, worked as a Japanese staff member at the International dormitory institute. I shared Japanese culture and Japanese language with international students there and it was So excitixg. Then, I decided that “This is what I want to do all through of my life✨❗️

After graduating, I worked as a reporter at a local Niigata radio station for six years before becoming a freelance.

Since 2003, I have been running Japanese cultural events, such as a traveling matcha cafe, as a voluntary organization called 金魚亭【KINGYO-TEI(goldfish chaf’e)】with kimono-loving women. 🍵👘

In 2007, we launched the NGO International Traditional Culture Exchange Association to commnicate with 198 countries on the earth ~RAINBOW DRAGON PROJECT🐉🌈🌐~,which continues to this day😊
